Pearl Academy Entrance Exam

There is also a personal interview with the candidates. Students can opt for a Master in Fashion Marketing or a Master in Design (Fashion and Textiles). NIFT Entrance Exam
The National Institute of Fashion Technology is one of the leading institutions in the country to offer multiple degrees in fashion. NIFT has campuses in Gandhinagar, Chennai, Srinagar, Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Mumbai and several other cities. At NIFT, students can opt for the Master’s degree in Design, Fashion Technology or Fashion Management. A group discussion/ personal interview follow the written exam. Students who qualify both the stages become eligible for a counselling session.
NID Entrance Exam
The National Institute of Design has campuses in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, and Kurukshetra. It offers just one Master’s program, Master of Design. The NID exam has two parts: NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. Those who score above the cutoff in prelims are eligible to appear for the mains. The prelims include a written exam whereas the mains include an in-person interview and a studio test.
CEED
IIT Bombay conducts the Common Entrance Examination for Design. Institutes which accept scores from this exam include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IISC Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Hyderabad for the Masters in Design course. The exam has two parts to test the students on various aspects including visual perception, creativity, communication skills and logic and reasoning. Admission to individual courses requires institute specific entrance exams, along with the CEED score.
FDDI AIST
The Footwear Design and Development Institute conduct this exam. It has branches in over 10 cities including Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Patna, and Noida. It offers post-graduation courses in Design in Footwear Design and Production, Design in CAD and an MBA in Retail and Fashion Merchandise.
