S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President & Dr. G.D. Bansal Director General offering Belgium Scholarship Letter to Himanshu Aggarwal (MBA) of CGC Jhanjeri

Students of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, Mohali were delighted to know that they have been selected for ASEM-DUO scholarship from Howest University College, Belgium for pursuing MBA studies there. These students will get a scholarship of 940 Euro (Rs. 70,000/- approx.) per month in addition to  full fee concession. These students have to spend money only for their to and fro air fare and boarding & lodging charges in Belgium, which will be less than half of the scholarship amount they will receive.
Explaining the scheme, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that CGC has signed an MoU with Howest University College, Belgium under which there is a provision for free exchange of staff and students. Last year some students from Belgium came to our college for pursuing BBA studies here. This year some of the students of CGC Jhanjeri and Landran have been selected under this scheme for pursuing MBA studies there. Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General CGC informed that some faculty members from Belgium also visited CGC Jhanjeri and Landran last year for delivering expert lectures in the fields of Computer Science and Management. Our teachers have also been visiting Howest University quite often, he added. Dr. Bansal opined that such programs are extremely useful for overall growth of the students and giving them international exposure.
