Program Educational Objectives

B.Sc. (Food Technology) students at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, develop an understanding of the procedure of food production and how to produce healthier products. The courseware focuses on imparting in-depth knowledge of both the technical and scientific methodologies to have a good understanding of the nature of raw food materials.

Graduates of B.Sc. (Food Technology) attain the knowledge to exude the methods of regulating and maintaining hygiene and preservation to prepare food suitable for consumption. They are educated to carry out experiments and distinguish the dietetic proportion of elements. They attain knowledge of diet and fitness by learning the fundamentals of food intake.
