Keeping up its commitment towards social welfare activities, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized a Blood Donation Camp under the guidance & supervision of the expert doctors of PGI, Chandigarh led by Dr. Anita. The organizers of the college put up a large number of posters & banners highlighting the importance of blood donation. The volunteers, who have been donating blood in the past, motivated the younger ones clarifying that human blood could be replaced by human blood only and blood donated by us gets automatically regenerated in the body within a short period. Consequently, there was a huge response for this noble cause. In view of such a warm response, the team of doctors could not collect blood from all donors till late evening. They promised to these students that they will come again in the near future.
