Technocrats Club

(Department of Computer Science & Engineering)

Cheering open communication within a workplace for a team to emerge cohesively and effectively with optimism, and hence to impart quality professional education to students in the field of computer science, the iTechnocrats Club has been formed by the department of computer science & engineering of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, technical campus, Jhanjeri. Various workshops are held at iTechnocrats Club, such as the ethical hacking workshop held on 18th March’19.

C-Cube Club

(Department of Civil Engineering)

The club created for better educational outcome of civil engineering students has been named as The C-Cube Club. Several activities are organized by this club at regular intervals. Many industrial visits have also been organized by the C-Cube Club and gave practical exposure to students. Civil engineering students have visited companies like UltraTech Concrete, Ramjee Concrete, TDI, Chandigarh City Centre, L&T Construction, etc.

i Technical Club

Electronics and Communication Engineering department of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri has formed a departmental club, named as I Technical Club. All the activities of the department are carried out under this club. Various innovative projects are carried out by the club to inculcate that habit of structured thinking pattern among creative minds. We also hope, it is our sole duty to work on projects that will make our institute technically advanced and enable our country as technically strong and better then other nations.

Mechmortals Club

To fulfill the thirst of the corporate by updating the knowledge of students on recent trends and technologies, the mechanical engineering department of Chandigarh Group of Colleges has formed the Mechmortals Club. Technical sessions are held from the beginning of every academic year. Students are prepared to cope up with the highly competitive environment, by strengthening they’re technical skills in various fields of engineering and technology.

The aim of this club is to establish a coding culture in the department, reaching every student passionate about coding. The motto of the club is to Create, Build, Innovate. This club really stretches the ability of students which require them to use what they have learned during they’re study period. Various projects are designed which encourages and require high level of participation from the students.

SYNERGY The HR Club

The core philosophy of this club is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. This is achieved by organizing events regularly throughout the academic year and by adding more activities in it’s portfolio of events. The club contributes to and benefit from networking with leaders and professionals in the industry and foster active participation in various events.

INVESTOMANIA- The Finance Club

Finance Club is formulated with the objective to increase interest in finance among management students by relating the experience of students’ professors and alumni. Students are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry, including it’s related jobs and certificates. The club fosters the environment of development in the field of finance among students.

BOMBERS- The Marketing Club

As a club, it brings together some of the brightest minds, interested in exploring the ever changing dynamics of marketing. The club aims at keeping members with the latest in marketing while integrating the vast experience of it’s members across industries and functions such as research, advertising, digital marketing and branding communication. The club believes that a sound business education is an ideal mix of world class curriculum.

SPECTRUM- The Fashion Club

The Spectrum fashion club of FT hosts different competitions and events celebrating multiple festivals. The Shears & Rubans (fashion show) is one of the most popular events hosted by the club. Along with celebratory events, the club also hosts numerous technical events like Fashionista.

CGC Fit Connect – For Nutrition & Dietetics

The club provides students interested in nutrition opportunities to learn more about a career in dietetics, volunteer in the community, and educate the public about better health and nutrition. The purpose is to provide a framework for meaningful student involvement and to stimulate interest in the profession of dietetics.
