CGC JHANJERI, MOHALI ORGANIZES ATAL FDP ON “HARNESSING DIGITAL MARKETING FOR INDUSTRY 5.0 TRANSFORMA
The Department of Management Studies (MBA), Chandigarh School of Business, CGC Jhanjeri, in collaboration with the AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL), successfully organised a six-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Harnessing Digital Marketing for Industry 5.0 Transformation”. Held at the CGC Jhanjeri campus, the program was designed to empower faculty members with future-ready competencies in digital marketing, blending academic insight with practical exposure in alignment with the human-centric and tech-integrated vision of Industry 5.0.
With the blessings of Hon’ble Chairman S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal and Hon’ble Managing Director Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal the program witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 35 faculty members across various institutions and disciplines. The FDP commenced on Day 1 with a formal inauguration and an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Amitoz, CEO of Space Gam, who spoke about the transformative power of digital innovation. This was followed by technical sessions by Mr. Amanpreet Singh on the fundamentals of digital marketing, Dr. Pallavi Jaggi on technographics in branding, and Mr. Saksham Madaan on UX/UI design, culminating in a hands-on session using Wix Studio. Day 2 explored SEO, content strategy, and startup-centric marketing. Mr. Amanpreet Singh introduced participants to tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush, while Mr. Dixit Kalra shared actionable strategies for digital marketing in entrepreneurial ecosystems. Mr. Saksham Madaan concluded the day with a deep dive into blogging, video, and voice search optimization.
Day 3 emphasized social media marketing and branding. Mr. Tanmay Pandya led a powerful session on leveraging platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and X for brand storytelling, followed by Dr. Santosh Bali’s research discussion on post-pandemic consumer behavior. Mr. Amanpreet Singh provided practical training on Meta Business Suite, enabling participants to design and analyze real-time ad campaigns. On Day 4, the focus shifted to paid media and email automation. Mr. Saksham Madaan discussed PPC strategies, while Dr. Arshan Kler examined how digital marketing is reshaping consumer behavior and business models. Mr. Sumit Choudhary introduced participants to CRM, email campaigns, and marketing automation through a hands-on Mailchimp session.
A major highlight of the FDP came on Day 5 with an industrial visit to Antier Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where participants experienced first-hand the applications of Web 3.0, blockchain marketing, and community-driven digital campaigns. The day continued with Ms. Gaganpreet Kaur’s session on affiliate and influencer marketing, followed by practical training on ClickBank and Amazon Affiliate platforms. The final day, Day 6, looked toward the future of marketing. Mr. Dixit Kalra explored emerging trends such as AI, AR, blockchain, and conversational marketing, while Dr. Harleen Kaur Dhillon led a scholarly recap of key research discussions. An MCQ-based evaluation tested learning outcomes, and the reflection journal submissions allowed participants to consolidate their insights. The valedictory ceremony celebrated the successful completion of the FDP, with Director HR Mr. Sandeep Sharma felicitating the speakers and participants, and Dr. Harleen Kaur Dhillon delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks.
The program made a significant impact by strengthening participants’ conceptual and practical understanding of digital marketing in the context of Industry 5.0. It fostered critical thinking, enhanced tool-based proficiency, and encouraged collaborative learning. By integrating expert lectures, research discussions, real-world case studies, and industrial exposure, the FDP successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry. CGC Jhanjeri, Mohali once again reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and faculty development, ensuring that educators are well-equipped to lead the next wave of digital transformation in their institutions and beyond.
