Dr. Raman Chadha, HOD of CGC Jhanjeri honoured for IRSD during an International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development (IRSD) held by NITTTR, Chandigarh.
Dr. Raman Chadha, Head Computer Science and Engineering Department of CGC Jhanjeri was honoured for his research work. IRSD is an international forum which provides the most coveted Interdisciplinary Research platform to address issues pertaining to all areas of Sustainability. The conference provided a valuable platform for Researchers, Academicians, Managers, Educationists, Environmentalists and Entrepreneurs to congregate and share their findings, ideas, scientific knowledge and new techniques/applications about latest developments in their respective domain for Sustainable Development. IRSD 2017 was organized by Dept. of CSE, NITTTR Chandigarh, MHRD, Govt. of India and Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay, MHRD, Govt of India in association with Green ThinkerZ Society, India.
"Green ThinkerZ" is a group of researchers from India, China and Australia continuously working in the field of Environmental Sustainability to create awareness around the globe by promoting Green Technologies and other Renewable Energy Resources with a dream to create Technical and Eco-friendly world. Other fields of interest are E-waste and Electromagnetic Pollution. Green ThinkerZs main motive is to promote Sustainability, so that, what we are enjoying today, our future generations also enjoy the same in future.
 The International Conference IRSD-2017 aimed to provide an interdisciplinary research platform to the community of global researchers and academicians working in the direction of sustainable technological development. The goal of IRSD- 2017 was to gather the academicians, industrialists, research scholars, students from all over the world to present their innovative ideas in achieving the common goal of sustainable Technology and to nurture an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. Vision of the IRSD-2017 is to create an ideal atmosphere so as to develop new collaborations with experts, technocrats and scientists for sustainable development in every sphere.
Speaking on the occasion S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that CGC Jhanjeri extends full financial assistance & moral support to its teachers & students for taking up National and International Level Research activities. Dr. G.D Bansal, Director general said that the innovative projects made by our students have won prizes at various companies held by IITs & other prestigious colleges.
