Interaction Between CGC Jhanjeri and AIESEC

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized an interactive session with International Association of Students in Economic & Commercial Sciences (AIESEC) in collaboration with IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. During this session the students were briefed about their international exposure and global internship opportunities abroad. AIESEC is the world’s largest no profit youth run organization. This organization focuses on empowering the youth to make positive impact on society. They have more than 27000 institutes as members with 1,36,787 candidates in 127 countries of the world. AIESEC representatives  Mr. Amandeep, Vice President, Outgoing Exchange, Ms. Vartika, Vice President, Incoming Exchange and Mr. Adam, Vice President, Business Development addressed the students & gave presentations on future opportunities for the students of Engineering, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Agriculture, Fashion Technology and Service Industry. They explained the working of AIESEC as to how they offer solutions to various problems of different organizations, companies, NGOs & start ups and how they work for developing youth leadership around the world. Mr. Amandeep explained the fast & simple selection process for global recruitment of students for international internship programmes. Mr. Adam appealed to the students for selecting international programs and equip themselves with tools to shape better future for themselves.
 
S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC conveyed his thanks to IKG Punjab Technical University for providing the students opportunities to take international internships. Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General appreciated the idea given by AIESEC regarding appointing Faculty of international repute on contract basis for various subjects of Engineering & other courses run in CGC Jhanjeri. Dr. Bansal added that college will make best use of this facility for imparting latest knowledge to students regarding upcoming technologies in the world.
