Additional Solicitor General of India, Shri Satya Pal Jain formally inaugurated the Chandigarh Law College of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri. The newly made college building was inaugurated on the occasion of the International Day of Justice. Gracing the occasion with their presence were personalities like Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director - CGC Jhanjeri, Dr. Manpreet Grewal, Principal – Chandigarh Law College, Jhanjeri, and Mr. Sahil Kapoor, Associate Director – CGC Jhanjeri.

Approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, Chandigarh Law College, Jhanjeri would be initially offering three courses viz. B.A. LL.B. (Integrated), B.Com. LL.B. (Integrated) and LL.B.

 “CGC Jhanjeri’s law programs will deliberately amalgamate theoretical learning with moot court training and give students a chance to learn in a professional environment under the supervision of qualified legal practitioners,” said Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director - CGC Jhanjeri during his address to the attendees. He also shared his ambitious plan for the college, as well as, the roadmap that was laid for the foundation of the institute.

 “To conduct research-based and advanced learning, the Chandigarh Law College has set up a separate law library that will give students access to law-related e-journals and databases,” said Dr. Manpreet Grewal, Principal – Chandigarh Law College, Jhanjeri during her address.

This was followed by a formal address by the Additional Solicitor General of India, Shri Satya Pal Jain, and the memento distribution ceremony. The other dignitaries present during the occasion praised the management for their initiative in legal education. The management of CGC Jhanjeri and dignitaries addressed the press soon after marking the completion of the ceremony.
