CGC-J signs MoU with EAFF

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri (CGC-J) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with one of the prestigious world organizations – European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) to safeguard and make popular the intangible cultural heritage of the different European nations that are on the verge of extinction.

The MoU was signed during a virtual ceremony attended by S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal – President of CGC-J, Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov – President of EAFF, Mr. Sahil Kapoor – Associate Director – Marketing & Business Development of CGC-J, and Mr. Kamal Preet Head -International Affairs of CGC.

The MoU aims at the creation of a portal for conducting international festivals on the campus of CGC-J that will give our students an opportunity to experience the folklore of different countries. It also aims at working together in the field of intangible cultural heritage, intergenerational transmission and the link between education.
