Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri celebrated its 10th Foundation Day with overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm. The day also marked the successful completion of 9 glorious years of CGC Jhanjeri, as well as, the commencement of a new academic session (2021-22).

The occasion was graced with the auspicious Shri Akhand Path Sahib that was hosted on the campus keeping in mind the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines. It aimed to thank the almighty lord for keeping his divine blessings upon us and seek his approval in whatever we do in future. All the arrangements were done keeping in mind social distancing norms and the premises was sanitised properly.

The entire faculty, staff and management of the college, including S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Hon’ble President - CGC Jhanjeri and Mr Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director - CGC Jhanjeri were present during the ceremony. Bhai Sahab Bhai Lakhwinder Singh and other Pathi Singh sung Shabad Kirtan and enlightened the religious fervour among all present. Kirtan was followed by Bhog, Samapti and Guru ka Langar.

Speaking at the occasion, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director - CGC Jhanjeri said, “We will soon be shifting to offline classes as students are eagerly waiting to visit the campus. The majority of the staff members have already been vaccinated and are all set to warmly welcome the students on the campus.” 

The celebrations concluded on a high note. CGC Jhanjeri had a great time celebrating its nine glorious years and laying an ambitious roadmap for the years to come.
