Faculty of Management, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, organised an industrial visit for the students of BBA (service industry), fourth semester to Hotel Radisson, Zirakpur. The purpose of the visit was to enhance the knowledge of the students regarding their field. The students, accompanied by faculty were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mohit Kumar, Head Learning and Development.
Thereafter, Ms. Sampson Johar, Head Marketing briefed them about the Hotel, their strategy and working. She reiterated that ‘service’ is the heart of their company and their motto is ‘Yes I Can!’
During the tour, the students were shown the royal hall, banquet kitchen, main kitchen, laundry, spa-saloon, upper deck swimming pool. Later, the students had an interaction session with Mr. Rikky Dhingra, General Manager, Radisson where they discussed the latest trends in marketing and service industry. He also discussed how Radisson was committed to helping its customers find the right balance for themselves. Towards the end, mementos were presented to Mr. Rikky Dhingra and Mr. Mohit Kumar as a token of gratitude. The students also exclaimed they had a fun trip filled with enriching and learning experience.
