Chandigarh Group of Colleges, (Faculty of Management), Jhanjeri, Mohali organized a weeklong Workshop on Digital Marketing where more than 200 students participated. Mr. Anand Bhaduriya (CEO and Founder, Rank Keyword Group) and Mr. Abhishek Bhaduriya (Director, Rank Keyword Group) were the mentors for the workshop who guided the students for making a career in this field.
The workshop emphasized at providing a step-by-step learning experience to the students and to help them understand various practical applications of Digital Marketing techniques. The modules covered under the workshop included Digital Marketing Basics, Website Development and Hosting, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Media, Google Analytics (Google Search Ads + YouTube Video Marketing), Content Marketing, Media Buying, E-mail Marketing, Message Marketing and Facebook Messenger marketing. After the course the students gained an exhaustive understanding on various aspects of paid digital marketing. Students have also been enlightened about the innumerable job opportunities related to digital marketing.
The workshop came to a close with a valedictory session where students expressed their views and shared their experiences regarding the workshop. The students wholeheartedly thanked the trainers for all the efforts put in by them. Towards the end, Certificates of Participation were distributed to the students. Thereafter, Dr. Jaskiran Kaur, Principal, Faculty of Management delivered a Vote of Thanks where she expressed her gratefulness towards the Mentors and presented them with mementos as a token of respect and gratitude.
Congratulating the organizers & the students, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that practical application of the theoretical knowledge delivered in the class rooms is extremely important for the students to become industry ready. Dr. G. D. Bansal, Director General, said that the students of CGC Jhanjeri are given so much of practical training that they are easily accepted by all the employers. It is because of this that a majority of CGC Jhanjeri students get placed much before they passout.
