CGC-J's Ideathon 2K24: Fostering Innovation and Collaboration The Computer Application Department at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri (CGC-J) proudly hosted Ideathon 2K24 in collaboration with Qservices IT Solutions Inc. Mohali and the Incubation Centre of CGC-J. This event, epitomized the vision of Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director of CGC Jhanjeri, to foster innovation and collaboration among students. Ideathon 2K24 aimed to unleash the creative potential of students by tasking them with devising solutions to real-world problems within a limited timeframe. With a focus on out-of-the-box thinking, participants were provided with a platform to translate their ideas into actionable plans capable of driving positive change in society. A total of 160 teams from various colleges enthusiastically registered for this event, showcasing their eagerness to engage in meaningful problem-solving. Following a rigorous selection process, 35 teams were chosen to compete in the final round in front of a distinguished jury. The jury panel comprised industry stalwarts: Mr. Sahil Kataria, Founder, CO-Founder, and CTO of Qservices IT Solutions Inc., Mohali; Mr. Rohit Dabra, CO-Founder, and CTO of Qservices IT Solutions Inc., Mohali; Mr. Ankit Tripathi, and Mr. Atul Tripathi, Founders of Uneako. Their expertise and guidance were invaluable in evaluating the innovative ideas presented by the participants. In recognition of their outstanding efforts, prizes were awarded to the top-performing teams. Trophies, medals, and cash prizes were presented as follows: 1st Prize: Rs. 10,000 2nd Prize: Rs. 6,000 3rd Prize: Rs. 4,000 Consolation Prizes (Five Teams): Rs. 1,000 each Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal's visionary leadership has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives like Ideathon 2K24, which not only nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit but also promotes collaboration and innovation among students.
