The Chandigarh Law College, Jhanjeri organised Moot Court Competition on 22nd

and 24th March 2023 at Block III. Preliminary and quarter-final rounds were held on 22nd

March,2023.

Moot Proposition was given to the students for preparation of memorials beforehand. The

case was related to Indian Contact Act,1872. The issue was related to the validity of contract

entered by a minor and the benefits availed under void contracts. All the teams submitted the

memorials within the given time. Before the preliminary round, Researcher Test was

conducted and one best researcher was selected. Out of 12 memorials best one was selected.

The event was organised by the Chandigarh Law College with the cooperation and persistent

efforts of the faculties as well as the enthusiastic student participants and volunteers. The

students witnessed the court proceedings and maintained the decorum of the court.
