Basant Panchami: Marking the Onset of Spring with Color and Cheer Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, Mohali, hosted a vibrant celebration of Basant Panchmi on January 25, 2023, at the Admin Block. The campus was alive with the spirit of spring as faculty, staff, and students came together to honor the occasion. Under the guidance of the Department of Student Welfare (DSW), a special program was organized, featuring a variety of cultural activities. These included a Basant Panchmi-themed flying competition, rangoli competition, and mehndi art competition, allowing participants to showcase their creativity and skills. The festivities also included traditional rituals associated with Basant Panchmi, such as dressing up for the occasion in vibrant colors. The entire event was infused with enthusiasm and energy, as everyone joined in to celebrate the arrival of spring and the renewal of life.
