CGC Jhanjeri’s Library Empowers Intellectual Capital with Online Orientation Programme on SCOPUS-Elsevier Publication CGCJ Library took a significant leap forward in empowering its intellectual capital with a comprehensive Online Orientation Programme on SCOPUS-Elsevier Publication. The session was aimed to introduce the esteemed faculty members and researchers of CGCJ to the newly subscribed E-resources by the college.

The session featured an expert lecture by Mr. Trikha Lavanya, a distinguished Scientist from Scopus-Elsevier Publications. Mr. Lavanya elucidated the key features of Scopus and delved into various metrics, including Journal metrics, author metrics, and Institutional metrics. His insights were particularly enlightening as they emphasized leveraging these metrics to enhance the institution's standing in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework). The event garnered notable attendance from the management, Deans and Directors.

Responding to the enthusiastic feedback and recognizing the importance of further engagement, Dr. Bir Bikram Pratap Singh, Associate Dean Research, facilitated a special online workshop on Scopus. This extended session provided attendees with a deeper understanding and practical insights into utilizing Scopus effectively for research endeavors.

The dignitaries present expressed their appreciation for the diligent efforts of Dr. Shivani Kaushal, acknowledging her instrumental role in organizing such an enlightening and beneficial programme.
